Club Confidence is simple - girls empowering girls in a pro-girl environment. Our free after school enrichment programs offer unique educational opportunities to students. Club Confidence has been offering programs to elementary and middle school girls since 2020.
In this workshop, students will learn the tools needed when approaching creative writing assignments. Students will be guided through a series of creative writing exercises, learn the fundamentals of crafting a story, and explore creativity.
In this workshop, instructors will help students gain confidence when approaching public speaking. Students will participate in informal debates, learn the fundamentals of parliamentary procedure, and engage in meaningful conversation about topical issues.
In this workshop, students will be challenged with math problems of the highest caliber and difficulty. They will work collaboratively in a dynamic environment that supports their love and exploration of math.
In this workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of essay writing. Students will be encouraged to think critically about English and literature through meaningful conversation and engagement.
In this workshop, students will read and discuss short-stories, poetry, and books. Instructors will guide the girls in discussions that analytically explore the text, while simultaneously fostering a relaxed environment. Similarly to all of our other programs, materials will be paid for and provided by Club Confidence.
In this workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of visual composition and experiment with color, light, and shadow. Students are taught the basics of digital photography as well.
In this workshop, students will analyze plays, look at scripts, watch plays online, and participate in a mini play towards the end of the six weeks. Further, students will learn acting techniques and how to battle stage fright!
In this workshop, students will be introduced to the visual language of image making. Students will focus on how artistic images are created and study the basic principles of design, composition and color. Then, using found images, students will create unique self-expressive artwork.
In this workshop, students will study films, learn how to write scripts, learn how to direct, edit videos (via software we will provide), and create their own short film as their final project. Students will also learn about famous actresses and women directors.
In this workshop, girls will be able to create meaningful friendships with the other girls enrolled. Each class is conversation based and students decide the topics they want to discuss or activities they want to do.
The SHSAT prep team will give students, grades 6-8, tools to use when they are taking the English section of the SHSAT. These tools include, but are not limited to, study prep, practice tests, guides to use when approaching multiple choice, etc. The instructors in this workshop have either taken the SHSAT or are juniors who received a good score on the English sections of the ACT/SAT.
In this workshop, students will explore the power of visual storytelling through storyboards, comic strips, and graphic novels. Students will begin to understand the basic principles of sequential visual storytelling as we explore composition, design, panel layout, and color using various mediums and materials, including markers, ink, graphite and collage.

In this workshop, students will explore fundamental elements of effective storytelling. This performance-oriented class will strengthen presentation skills for a variety of situations. Through active peer feedback, students will sharpen their skills in critical listening. As well as performing famous speeches, students will write their own personal story, as well as compose a persuasive speech. The goal of this workshop is to empower students to be more compelling, articulate, and brave.
This workshop centers around game design and animation that allows for creativity and exploration. Students will learn the basics to coding, which instructors will teach through a free program that is available on all devices. Projects include creating a webpage that gives viewers information about a person, place, or object, and creating animations through softwares like Scratch and Grasshopper.
Club Confidence offers free one on one tutoring every Friday from 3:30-4:30. Students can bring any material from any of their core subjects to review with their tutor. If Interested, please email info@clubconfidence.org
